We’re very happy to introduce you to the new Steering Group of Young Friends of the Earth Europe, elected at this years Network Gathering in Croatia on 15th April.
Each year participants at our annual meeting have the chance to stand and be elected to join a team of volunteers whose role it is to lead and develop the Young Friends of the Earth Europe network for the next year. This year’s team is: Grace Herbert (Ireland), Juli Okropiridse (Austria), Maruška Mileta (Croatia), Richard Sagar (UK), Thessa Meijlis (the Netherlands), Susi Hammel (Germany), and Ingrid Skoldvaer (Norway).
Each Steering Group member also has an alternate who replaces them when they are unable to make meetings. Our alternates for this year are Simona Getova from Macedonia (alternate to Grace), Tamas Eisenbeck from Hungary (alternate to Juli), Caroline from the Netherlands (alternate to Maruška), John Wilson from the UK (alternate to Richard), Petrea from Denmark (alternate to Thessa), Natascha from Belgium (alternate to Susi) and Silje from Norway (alternate to Ingrid)..
We say goodbye to our fantastic volunteers from our 2012- 13 steering group and say a massive congratulations to the new volunteers who have stepped forward to take on this role.
