Young Activists Communications Camp in Hungary

Unlock Your Activism Potential: Attend a Communications Camp in Beautiful Hungary and Develop Essential Skills to Engage With Youth!

Come join young people from all over Europe at the Communications Camp near Budapest, taking place from 19-23 March!

• If you’re 18-30 years old;
• If you’re an EU resident , preferably living in one of these countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden;
• If you’re an activist (for example #climate #food #antiracism #faretrade #degrowth #justice) or you’re willing to start but can’t choose the starting point;
• If you either have some buddies or an affinity group you fight with or you’re looking for new people to defend the same cause;
• If you want to learn how to empower young people, especially harder to reach youth or you are an absolute pro in content creation and social media campaigning,

Then this camp is definitely for you!

Join our Communications Camp in Beautiful Hungary with your buddies and learn how to help other young people sustain their activism despite the growing anxiety and pessimism around climate change. Professional trainers will give you tools and advice on how to empower other activists by communicating a positive vision for the future of Europe in an inclusive way. Furthermore, you will be free to organise some skillshares and fun activities like karaoke nights, games and film screenings yourself.

Small print:

• You don’t have to pay anything for this training camp! We will provide cosy meeting spaces, rooms to sleep and food. We ask you to make your own travel arrangements (though we can help you), but will reimburse your tickets if all formalities are in order.
• Participants will be put into buddy groups of 2-3 people who share a language. You can either apply together with 1 or 2 buddies, or find them later
• We’re planning YFoEE Summer Camp in August 2023 and you’re strongly encouraged to join both camps. We’ll preferably select participants who can attend both camps.
• In case you need more info or want to ask questions about the event, you’re welcome to join an info call on 1 February and meet other interesting folks.
