Register now for the Climate Training Camp from 21-24 October in Berlin for the international Campaign on an Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice.
A few weeks ago, a worldwide campaign was launched by the World Youth for Climate Justice (WYCJ). The aim is to ask the International Court of Justice for an advisory opinion on the legal consequences of climate change concerning human rights. The question for the advisory opinion is submitted by the island state of Vanuatu. The initiative was started by students from the Pacific Islands and in the meantime young people from all over the world have joined the campaign. A more detailed summary of the initiative can be found here: https://www.naturfreundejugend.de/files/get/25232/EN_WYCJ_-_Two_Pager.pdf
In order to launch a strong campaign in the European countries, we are organizing a training weekend with workshops that will give us the knowledge about the Campaign and all the necessary skills to campaign and to lobby together. The weekend will also be used for networking and at the end we want to develop a plan on how to run the campaign together in the next months.

The organisation of the event is supported by the Young Nature Friends Germany. Thanks to this support, a refund of your travel costs and food and accommodation for the weekend will be provided and will mean no cost for you.
During the workshop you will meet young climate activists from the WYCJ network, UN youth delegates from Europe and international speakers who will share their knowledge with us.
Join an internationally connected team and fight with us to ensure that the world’s highest court addresses the most important issue that future generations are facing.
