25/05/2012

From 20-22 June world leaders will gather for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Marking the twentieth anniversary of the first Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, this June groups and organisations across the globe are calling for greater people power and democracy in the UN negotiations, and an end to greenwashed solutions to ecological collapse.

Young Friends of the Earth Europe invites you to join us and TAKE ACTION in the lead up to these talks. From 5th- 22nd June we ask you to organise your own action and join thousands of others in the call for an end to the corporate hijack of our politics and planet.

Join a YFoEE Rio action: 5th- 22nd June

Young Friends of the Earth Europe is calling on you to join us and take action in your home town, anytime between the 5th- 22nd June 2012.

If you want to get involved, click here for the action pack! In there you’ll find the resources to help you set up and run your action.

To take part in the action just send us an email saying what you plan to do and when, and we’ll make sure your action is added to the action calendar. Photographs and short reports of all actions will be shared for all on the Young Friends of the Earth Europe website.
