This sunday 9th September, Young Friends of the Earth Cyprus have a day of actions planned to kick off Young Friends of the Earth Europe’s reCAP campaign.
Their actions will be taking place at Limassol Castle Square from 18:00- 22:00, to coincide with a dinner being held for a number of EU politicians, currently in Cyprus as part of talks for the EU presidency.
They’ll be giving out free organic food to passers-by, running some special competitions, and will be handing out a special CAP birthday card with our demands for fairer and more sustainable farming in Europe and call for an end to subsidies to factory farming.
