Join the Young Friends of the Earth Steering Group 2013- 14

13/02/2013

Every year the Young Friends of the Earth Europe network elects a new Steering Group whose role it is to work as a team and ensure the development and direction of YFoEE over the course of the coming year. The election of our new Steering Group will be taking place on Sunday 14th April at our annual Network Gathering, taking place this year in Jagnjedovec, Croatia.

It’s a challenging but highly rated voluntary position, and we’re looking for some new enthusiastic volunteers to take up the role for 2013- 14!

If you think you’re interested in finding out more about the Steering Group, what it means to be a member, and how you can nominate yourself to join, please read the Steering Group 2013-14 pack that we’ve put together. You’ll need to participate in the Network Gathering, so make sure you also contact your national YFoE group to join the meeting as their representative. For any more information about joining the Steering group, please contact  Sophie in the office.

“I’ve been on the steering group for two years; this time helped me develop a range of skills which were fundamental to me getting a really cool campaigning job with FoE Scotland. I also got to meet lots of cool people and travel to some awesome places.” Paul Daly, current Steering Group member, YFoE Scotland
