With the goal of achieving more food sovereignty in Austria, 22 young people came together to learn about the problems with out current food and farming system and to develop their own visions for a better agricultural and food system in Austria.
Over the course of two zoom meetings, they discussed the problems of our current system and how it should be transformed. Among the outcomes of the meetings are several ideas about what we can do as individuals to support change.
The workshops were divided into two main parts. At the beginning of each session participants learned about different consequences of our current system. This input was built on the Declaration for Food Sovereignty in Europe which was itself written by young people from all over Europe.
The second and main part of the meetings was the collection of visions and ideas on what each of us can do in private and political ways to initiate and support change.
