Are you curious about how we can actually solve the climate crisis? Friends of the Earth Russia has developed an info kit for a wide range of actors interested in climate-friendly solutions in sectors such as transport, waste management, and renewable energy.
The info kit consists of five brochures, an analytical report, and four annotated digests, all examining different solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change. The brochures on carbon-free transport and climate and waste, as well as the analytical report on Russian forests and climate change, are in English. The info kit is intended for a wide range of audiences including environmental activists, journalists, governments, and the general public.
The carbon-free transport brochure outlines possible ways to decarbonize transport and focuses specifically on systemic and organizational solutions to achieve climate neutrality. The brochure on climate change and waste explores the relationship between these two challenging global issues and looks at the climate impact of different waste management methods. Finally, if you are interested in learning more about Russian forests, how they are currently managed and impacted by climate change, you should have a look at the analytical report.
The info kit includes experiences and successful solutions from the Nordic countries, as they have similar climatic conditions to Russia and have shown promising progress.
