WE ARE YOUNG; WE ARE FIVE; WE ARE FREE!

As most of you surely already know, today is Young Friends of the Earth Europe’s 5th birthday. Congratulations to everyone!!! We are all doing a great job and can be very proud of what we have achieved. Here’s to another five successful years of YFoEE!

Onthe 27th June, five years ago, Young Friends of the Earth Europe had its first meeting at the youPEC conference and officially started! To celebrate the fifth anniversary of this occasion, we created a Facebook-event were we asked everyone to upload pictures of their groups celebrating. We got loads of birthday wishes and lot of very lovely photos:

Some groups planted five trees – hopefully soon there will be trees growing in every member group’s country.

Do you still need to celebrate? – Don’t worry, there are some great celebration-plans for the summer camp. But, besides that, feel free to eat a cake, sing a song, plant some trees or take a picture – just remember to send it to us!
